The Zanzibar Passenger Ferry & RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-Off) Terminal Masterplan will be developed on a 29Ha site at Maruhubi and will include diverse program offerings. The Passenger Ferry Terminal will revolutionize transit to the island for locals and tourists alike, connecting Zanzibar to Tanzania and East Africa like never before. The state-of-the-art facility includes security, waiting lounges, meeting centers, ticketing, baggage claim and more.

The Roll-on/Roll-off Vehicle Terminal will transport cargo, vehicles and other logistics across Zanzibar to the rest of the World. The commercial program will include two hotels, multiple food and beverage options, retail, an exhibition center, logistics center, and offices throughout the masterplan. The masterplan also includes a local eco energy plant, installation of solar panels, a water retainment center, and rainwater collection areas across the site.
