ZF Devco Hosts President Mwinyi to Launch Zanzibar Ferry Terminal

ZF Devco proudly hosted His Excellency Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, at the construction site for the new Zanzibar Passenger and RoRo Ferry Terminal in Maruhubi, Zanzibar.

This visit celebrated the launch of this transformative project and the beginning of a new era for Zanzibar’s marine transportation. Designed to enhance the lives of the island’s people and the efficiency of its economy, the terminal will directly impact:

• Over 3 million passengers annually, providing modern, safe, and comfortable transit.

• More than 150,000 m³ of cargo, streamlining trade and fostering economic growth.
